The article in the February 2021 issue of APCJ describes the possibilities to meet the requirements of lean air system operators for quality, safety and availability. The aim is always to reliably maintain the specified oxygen concentration in the gas mixture to achieve defined product quality safely. The article describes various suitable technologies, including a SIL gas analyzer and a SIL compliant switch-off. In addition, combinable solutions to increase system availability are presented.<\/p> \n \n
