Denis Radtke, Member of the European Parliament, CDU Member of Parliament for the Ruhr region, visits LT GASETECHNIK. In the presence of the Director of the VDMA European Office, Holger Kunze, there was an intensive exchange on the effects of the Posting of Workers Directive (Directive 96\/71\/EC on the posting of workers). LT GASETECHNIK reported on the high administrative effort required for commissioning, maintenance and service in other European countries. In one specific example, one third of the costs for a secondment to Luxembourg were additionally incurred for administrative expenses. However, the use of highly qualified LT employees means that there is clearly no risk of minimum wages and social standards being undermined in such cases, which is why the need for this expense is not apparent. Mr. Radtke understood the special problem for companies in the German mechanical and plant engineering sector and announced that he would submit a corresponding request to the European Commission. This is an impetus for the VDMA<\/a> to sensitize politicians to the administrative implications and to advocate an increase in the practicability of this directive for German posting companies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
