Durante el funcionamiento, el rotor y el estrator generan calor. Este calor es absorbido por el hidr\u00f3geno (H2) del interior del generador y disipado mediante intercambiadores de calor. Como el H2 absorbe el calor mejor que el aire, los generadores de gran potencia se refrigeran con H2.    <\/p>&#13;\n<p>El <strong>suministro de hidr\u00f3geno en las centrales<\/strong> el\u00e9ctricas suele ser especialmente seguro, fiable y controlado.
