Once again, a well-known flat glass manufacturer has entrusted LT GASETECHNIK with the inert gas supply system in the container for a new flat glassline.

Philip Weyer has shot a video for you with a camera drone – so you get a brief overview of the LT building and an insight into a part of the production at the same time:

The HNx gas mixing plant was delivered in a 40-foot container. In the mechanical part, temperatures, pressures and quantities of the input gases nitrogen and hydrogen are measured and controlled. The electrical part contains redundant system control and the partially redundant analysis system. The measurement technology analyzes moisture, oxygen and hydrogen content at five points.

Controlled provided are redundantly:

  • 250…1600 Nm³/h nitrogen for the bath, redundant
  • 0…400 Nm³/h nitrogen as control and purging medium with bypass
  • 250 to 1600 Nm³/h as shielding gas mixture @ 0.5 to 1.5 barg, redundant, 1.0 … 12.0% by volume of hydrogen in nitrogen.

The inert gas supply system in the container was completely designed and manufactured by LT GASETECHNIK.
